Yi Ran Dao Kung Fu

| Age Range: | 14 – Adult |
For beginning-advanced adult students focusing in the Chinese martial arts, Yi Ran Dao kung fu is built upon the principles of Shaolin kung fu and the soft styles of T’ai Chi Ch’uan and Baguazhang.
The martial arts forms of Shaolin kung fu, T’ai Chi Ch’uan, Baquazhang, and Jiu-Jitsu are combined into this very effective, very potent, and very practical class in fundamental martial arts and self-defense. You’ll learn the vulnerable areas of the human body, and how to strike or apply pressure to them. You’ll learn the basics of stance and balance, blocking, and striking with the arms and legs.
Working with a partner you’ll learn practical self-defense techniques and
tactics designed to be easily executed with maximum effect. You’ll leave your first class with knowledge and techniques that can be used immediately in your defense. In time, advanced tactics for handling multiple attackers, for handling weapons held upon you, and for gaining total control of your attacker are practiced. Soft style training is introduced at this level. Sticky-hand sparring is practiced.
